Day & Multi-day Tours
Join us for the day or a long weekend on a private, guided tour. Whether you are in Nicaragua to enjoy a relaxing vacation or an active adventure, we offer a wide range of tour options. Ask us!
Pineapple Farm Tour
$56 per person (minimum 2 persons)
2pm - 5:30pm
When it comes to pineapple, this undulating landscape near Volcán Masaya is prolific. We’ll take you to visit with a local farmer making his living off this sweet fruit. See how life is lived in el campo (the countryside), its challenges and rewards. And, yes, you will get to taste just how sweet!
Granada City Tour
$22 per person (minimum 2 persons)
9am - 11:30pm
This is one walking tour where your guide will not, as a client once put it, “dish out torrents of indigestible information.” We have found that more than historical dates and timelines, people are interested in, well, people. “WHAT is she carrying on top of her head?” “Where is he going with THAT?” “Why are they all standing THERE?” We are more than happy to fill you in on all the rhyme and reason as we make our way around this colorful Colonial city (founded in 1524).
Lunch in the Barrio
$38 per person (minimum 2 persons)
11am - 2pm
Join us for a home-cooked meal in a lively barrio on the outskirts of Granada. You will be welcomed into a humble home to share a traditional Nicaraguan lunch with a local family. Try your hand at making corn tortillas. How do they get them so perfectly round? You will also receive a tour of both the barrio and the school where a small grassroots organization is making a big difference in the lives of the children who live here.
Your participation provides income for a local family and a portion of the proceeds goes to Education Plus.
Things to consider for day tours: Comfortable closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera
